Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a chilled food manufacturing business which are looking to recruit QA Assistant for their team. The ideal candidate has experience in a QA role and working in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems and food safety standards.
Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP, and BRC standards.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring necessary documentation is up to date.
Investigate and report any non-conformances, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections and test results.
Work closely with production and technical teams to improve quality processes.
Ensure hygiene and good manufacturing practices (GMP) are upheld throughout the facility.
Assist with customer complaints investigations and product traceability exercises.

Salary up to £33,800
4 on 4 off – days
Pension.
