I’m working with a well-established UK-based consultancy that is consulting with an enterprise ‘cool’ tech client.
Rate: £550 p/d circa
IR35: Outside
Location: 100% UK Remote
Duration: 12-months
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Python
Selenium
GitHub
Docker
AWS/Azure/GCP (Our client uses Azure but any of the big 3 is OK)

As a QA / Automation Engineer, you will join the Full-Stack Observability team, which is responsible for reinventing observability in enterprises. The team reimagines and builds solutions that apply how organisations observe, act, and automate all aspects of work.
Skills / Tech Stack you will use:
Python & Selenium
Java or .NET
AWS, Azure or GCP
React Testing Library (Preferable), Jest, React/TypeScript
MSTest, CodedUI, GraphQL, NUnit, NSubstitute
Networking and/or Database Technologies
CI/CD, LINUX, Docker
Version control system like Git, Bitbucket
Unit and integration testing across a diverse technology base
DevOps acumen with a strong operational excellence mindset
Computer Science Degree
Responsibilities:
Building/maintaining test frameworks and tools
Design, develop, execute and automate tests for our products and services which include API, GUI and client-side packages
Perform API, GUI and system testing for new features and enhancements
Analyze regression defects, conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed information to help development fix issues
Work across tech stacks, including front-end, back-end, and service development
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through process enhancement, automation, and efficient use of resources
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with both local and remote teams effectively
Be a customer advocate – identify feature enhancements and usability improvements that enhance the experience of a customer
Be an active participant in product requirements, functional specification and design specification reviews
