About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in test automation for Web, Mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Katalon Studio and experience working within Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management processes.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of overall QA Automation Testing experience
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Selenium
- Experience in Web, Mobile, and API test automation
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks (Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Reusable Frameworks)
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD integration
- Experience using JIRA or similar defect management tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation opportunities
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and reusable components
- Execute regression, smoke, and sanity test suites
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and manage scheduled executions
- Analyze automation execution results and perform root cause analysis
- Log, track, and validate defects using JIRA
- Maintain automation reports, metrics, and test artifacts
- Collaborate with QA, Development, and DevOps teams to resolve issues
- Ensure adherence to automation best practices and coding standards
- Support test data preparation and environment validation
- Continuously improve automation coverage and execution efficiency
