Job Title: QA Automation Tester (Mobile/API/WEB/DB)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for Mobile (Android & iOS), Web, UI, API, and Database testing. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the quality of our software products by collaborating with developers, product managers, and manual testers to identify defects, improve processes, and deliver robust, user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Mobile applications (Android and iOS), Web applications, User Interfaces (UI), APIs, and Databases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing scope.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Execute API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar, validating endpoints, payloads, and responses.
Conduct database testing to verify data integrity, consistency, and performance using SQL queries.
Ensure UI/UX consistency and functionality across mobile and web platforms.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to improve product quality.
Stay updated on the latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in QA automation testing, with a focus on Mobile (Android & iOS), Web, UI, API, and Database testing.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
Strong knowledge of SQL for database testing (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for scripting.
Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, XCUITest) is a plus.
Testing Knowledge:Solid understanding of QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
Expertise in writing test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
Ability to perform both manual and automated testing as needed.
Tools: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI), and bug-tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing cross-platform applications (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Certification in QA or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
