Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, document, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the reliability and performance of AI-driven and traditional software products. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing across web, mobile, and SaaS applications, identifying and logging defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, and verifying fixes before release. The role also involves contributing to QA best practices, maintaining test documentation, participating in regression and smoke testing, and helping improve overall product quality and user experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a clear understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess solid Test Execution and Manual Testing skills to validate functionality, usability, and performance across different platforms.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design, write, and maintain detailed Test Cases and test scenarios based on requirements and specifications.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) and basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reproducible results.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills to document issues clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with API testing, basic automation tools, or testing AI-powered applications is a plus.
