What you will do at Evalueserve
Establish robust testing frameworks and methodologies specific to data engineering projects
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for ETL processes, data warehousing, and analytical applications
Validate data transformation logic, data quality, and integrity across data platforms
Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Hive / Impala / Oracle environments to validate data accuracy and performance
Develop automated testing solutions for continuous validation of data pipelines and integration points
Partner with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and quality metrics for leadership reporting
Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams
What we’re looking for
Over 4+ years of experience in big data, data warehouse, and ETL testing
Extensive knowledge of end-to-end data solution development in the financial services sector
Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience in Hive, Impala, and Oracle databases
Experience in using data quality validation frameworks and testing tools for large-scale data environments
Familiarity with modern data engineering technologies (Spark, Kafka, data lakes, etc.)
Understanding of data modeling concepts and dimensional data warehouse architectures
Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies with a track record of successfully implementing iterative development and testing practices
