This company plays a critical role in producing essential components for various products and supports vital national infrastructure.
The Quality Assurance Engineer provides technical quality assurance support in a diverse, highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring product and process quality, contributing to cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
The Role
- Provide technical quality assurance support in highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Develop and enforce company-wide quality policies and processes
- Interpret customer contract specifications and plan inspections/tests
- Administer company quality systems including product complaint and nonconforming product tracking
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to resolve process, design, and product quality issues
- Develop project-specific inspection planning documents and quality systems
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering with 5+ years of QA experience in manufacturing, or Associate's Degree with 10+ years
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 9000, ASME NQA-1, or equivalent QMS
- Experience with government or regulated industry contract review and interpretation
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software
- Formal training and experience with corrective action/problem-solving (preferred)
