Location: Toronto, ON (Downtown – Hybrid, 2-3d/week in office mandatory)
Roles and responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to drive full-stack quality assurance within a Trading and Wealth management environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing, from developing automated regression suites to managing defects and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation & Testing: Develop and maintain automated scripts for UI (Selenium) and API (Rest Assured).
- Lifecycle Management: Perform continuous testing for security, APIs, and regression; support data and environment configuration.
- Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, mentor junior members, and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Process Improvement: Utilize BDD frameworks and data analytics to identify trends and optimize testing efficiency.
Must have skills/experience/qualifications:
4+yrs of the following
- UI Automation: years of experience with Selenium.
- API Testing: years of experience with Rest Assured and Postman.
- Technical Stack: years with GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, and Maven.
- Database: years of experience with SQL.
- Domain Expertise: Previous experience in Trading and Wealth management.
- Mainframe: 2+ years of knowledge in Mainframe testing.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with BDD.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitHub Copilot.
- Advanced proficiency in System Integration Testing (SIT).
