Purpose of Position:

Lead and maintain the Antigua Apparel Quality Management System (QMS) for the facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant regulatory and customer requirements.
Oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), managing the QA/QC team in day-to-day operations to ensure that garments consistently meet design, performance, and durability specifications.
Prepares for and successfully passes internal, customer, and third-party audits, and for embedding a culture of continuous improvement, product integrity, and customer satisfaction across all production stages..

Essential Functions:

Work closely with site leadership in developing strategic direction and development of the organization’s quality strategies and tactics.
Develop, implement, and maintain the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and quality ownership throughout the organization.
Lead, train, coach and supervise quality group and operations associates to ensure development and compliance with the Antigua Apparel (QMS)
Ensure leadership and production and warehouse associates are fully trained and compliant with known quality standards.
Refine current quality system to be like ISO standards.
Document and data control responsibility of standard work, procedures, work instructions and forms.
Maintain a system for accurate quality records including test reports, audit results, and training logs.
Develop standard operating procedures, quality control plans, and inspection protocols in conjunction with Lean methods.
Oversee incoming, in process, and final product inspections to ensure garments meet specifications of order processing standards.
Develop and implement quality floor audits to verify compliance with standard work instructions.
Ensure compliance with appropriate domestic and international regulatory standards, customer requirements and Antigua requirements.
Prepare for and lead internal audits and third-party compliance inspections.
Manage the customer complaint process with corrective actions and ensure responsiveness to customer through sales representative.
Analyze quality KPIs and other data to identify root causes of any adverse trends and implement corrective actions for process improvement and sustainment.
Generate and present quality performance reports to senior management.
Translate customer routing specifications into standard work processes for successful customer launch and sustainment.
Collaborate with sourcing and production teams to evaluate supplier quality and performance.

Requirements:

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
ASQ certification as quality engineer or quality manager a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of Quality Management experience, preferably in an ISO or FDA environment.
Working knowledge regarding ISO9000 or FDA quality system standards
Must have a high level of attention to detail.
Proven ability to directly and indirectly influence and lead teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must be able to demonstrate extensive practical execution of Lean tools (Kaizens, Kanban, root cause counter measures, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and data analytic skills
Laser-focused on identifying root-case and sustained corrective actions
Experience working on cross-functional teams and on own initiative.
Strong understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
Familiarity with all sports teams a plus.
Knowledge of quality principles and tools (problem analysis, statistical tools, design of experiments, control charts, and other quality methodologies)
Excellent writing and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with a variety of people at various technical and management levels
