We are looking to add to our growing RAEG team. Join our team; we are a privately held aviation corporation with over 40 years of delivering quality products to support and service the aerospace industry.
We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Inspector for our Irvine, CA location.
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for implementing proper controls associated with the Quality Assurance Policy, directives, and procedures, through the job functions of Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspections.
Scope and Responsibilities:
· Able to interpret Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD&T).
· Familiar with inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, thread gages, optical comparators, etc.
· Perform Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
· Assure all parts/material compliance to drawings, customer contractual, and government requirements.
· Generate Material Rejection Report with all non-conforming material and route to Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition.
· Knowledgeable of AS9100/ISO9001, FAA Requirements.
· Coordinate final shipping documentation.
· Investigates material discrepancies and provides disposition to MRB.
· Completes AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
· Adherence to all aspects of RAEG Quality Management System and Standard Inspection Criteria, Directives, and Work Instructions.
Education Requirements: Associate 2-year degree or equivalent experience with high school diploma.
Minimum Years Experience: 2-years of working experience in the Aerospace & Defense manufacturing industry as a Quality Control Inspector (Mechanical, Electrical)
Computer Skill Requirements: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
