Dimensional Inspector – 2nd Shift (Direct Hire)
CMSP LLC is seeking a skilled Dimensional Inspector to join our team on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). This direct hire position is responsible for ensuring that all products and components meet precise dimensional specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.).
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify required tolerances.
Document and report any deviations or non-conformities.
Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and final products.
Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve dimensional issues.
Ensure compliance with AS9102, ISO 9001-2015, AS9100D, and ITAR standards.
Maintain and calibrate inspection tools for accuracy.
Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
Proven experience in dimensional inspection or quality control.
Proficiency with CMM and other precision measurement tools.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
