Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will ensure the highest standards in the production and assembly of our e-scooters. You will work closely with our product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify issues, improve processes, and guarantee that every SELANA e-step meets our strict quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures for e-scooter production
Inspect components and finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns
Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to address design or manufacturing issues
Document and report quality issues, and help track their resolution
Participate in root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions
Support the testing of new features and hardware before mass production
Help maintain quality assurance records and compliance documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency and product reliability
Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements for electric vehicles
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail and a passion for product quality
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance methodologies
Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques (e.g., inspection checklists, root cause analysis) is a plus
Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
