Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager located in Rock Hill, SC. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting testing protocols, and identifying areas for improvement in software products. You will lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring our tax filing software meets the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and performance.
You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and compliance teams to test complex logic, automate processes, and mentor junior QA analysts.
Responsibilities
Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for critical product releases.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
Validate IRS form logic, calculations, and e-filing workflows.
Collaborate with Product and Compliance teams to understand requirements and identify test cases.
Conduct regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
Document and track bugs using JIRA; follow through on resolution and verification.
Mentor and support junior QA team members.
Qualifications
4+ years in software quality assurance, preferably in SaaS or financial software.
Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and test automation frameworks.
Experience with tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Confluence.
Knowledge of IRS forms, tax software, or compliance-heavy systems a plus.
