Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Thoroughly inspects the interior and portions of the exterior Airport for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
· Completes daily inspection walks of the terminal and concourses to ensure an aesthetically pleasing environment that meets the Airport’s contractual standards.
· Perform follow-up reporting on assigned tasks to ensure completion.
· Present findings and detailed reports to Site Manager, Quality Control Manager and city designee identifying damage, safety concerns and any other notable items as needed.
· Perform quality audits documenting cleaning processes to safeguard established guidelines and procedures are followed.
· Communicates to the Site Manager and/or Quality Control Manager as soon as possible the status and outcome of any emergency.
· Other duties may be assigned as needed by the Site Manager or Quality Control Manager.
· Utilize the Quality Control management system.
Job Requirements
· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
· Organizational skills including the ability to manage time effectively.
· Incredibly observant with great attention to detail.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and ability to learn or adapt to Quality Control tracking software.
· Ability to establish effective working relationships.
· Ability to navigate property/buildings quickly and easily.
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience working in the janitorial industry.
· Previous experience working in an airport environment.
· Ability to read maps or building blueprints.
Physical Requirements:
· Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and squatting is required.
· Frequent sitting at a desk/computer for long periods is required.
· Ability to lift 40lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
· Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, snow)
· Communicate, receive, and exchange improvement ideas and information by verbal and written means.
· Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
· Driving when necessary – must possess a valid Driver’s License
