We’re partnered with a global automotive supplier running a 400-person operation that needs a Quality Manager who can lead from the front, drive accountability, and turn quality into a competitive advantage—not a cost center.
What You’ll Own
- Full ownership of the Total Quality System—strategy through execution
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing quality team
- Translate customer requirements into real, measurable process controls
- Drive SPC, process control systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Own scrap reduction, cost of quality, and operational impact
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership—not just a support function
- Serve as the voice of quality internally and externally
(This role reports at the highest level and influences both operational and strategic direction)
What You Bring
- Automotive manufacturing experience (non-negotiable)
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a plant environment (~400 employees)
- Deep knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements
- Strong background in SPC, problem-solving, and process improvement
- Ability to connect quality to financial performance and operational results
- Executive-level communication—you can influence at every level
