Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager located in Union Springs, AL. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all aspects of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. The responsibilities include developing and managing quality assurance programs, conducting audits and inspections, leading a team to enforce quality standards, analyzing data for process improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure product excellence and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and mentor the QA team
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate issues and implement process improvements
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the poultry or food production industry is an advantage
- Proficiency with quality management systems (QMS) and auditing tools is beneficial
