Quantic UTC, a division of Quantic Electronics, develops and manufactures mission-critical ceramic capacitors under both the Quantic UTC and Quantic Eulex brands for the High-Rel market, primarily for the Mil/Aero, Test and Measurement, and Space markets. Position Function:

The QA manager will be accountable for maintaining our quality management system (currently ISO-9001) and assist manufacturing in improving the quality of the product and ensuring its reliability, requiring interaction with suppliers and customers. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable of driving sustainable growth.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

Manage/Lead Continuous Improvement Teams.

Participate in the internal audit team and drive improvement activities.

Some travel is required.

Develop test plans and perform testing to ensure products meet applicable standards and specifications.

Maintain Document and Revision Control.

Maintain Engineering Change Process.

Develop quality control policies and standards for the company to follow.

Train staff members on the quality control processes and policies.

Perform in-house audits of product inventory and process documentation.

Investigate customer complaints and provide FA and Corrective Action reports.

Ensure safety procedures are in place and followed.

Monitor operational data and identify quality problems or yield improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

BS Degree in Engineering is required.

Knowledge of ISO-9001 / AS9100.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or a related industry.

Knowledge in a manufacturing environment and process.

Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and internal auditing is preferred, as well as certification as a lead auditor.

Understanding the manufacturing processes and physical and electrical properties of passive electrical components is a plus.

Knowledge of MIL-STD-790 is preferred but not required.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

US Citizen.

Experience in Military and Aerospace markets desirable.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.

Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to identify and eliminate root causes using problem-solving methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals accurately and efficiently in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
