What You'll Do
As a QA Manager you will closely collaborate with Engineering teams in a multinational environment, particularly with developers, technical leads, and Engineering Managers in Poland and the Netherlands, driving shift-left practices and ensuring quality across the entire SDLC.
In The Project, You Will Be Responsible For
- Leading quality assurance work as a senior hands-on contributor, with strong end-to-end ownership of testing activities across projects
- Designing, executing, and improving test strategy, test scenarios, and quality practices aligned with business and delivery goals
- Implementing and maintaining effective quality processes, including quality gates, defect reporting, risk tracking, and release readiness support
- Taking ownership of manual and automated testing activities across web, API, integration, and system levels depending on project needs
- Driving end-to-end testing across the SDLC and promoting shift-left quality practices together with Engineering and Product teams
- Owning defect lifecycle and quality risk management (triage, prioritization, RCA, prevention)
- Contributing hands-on to test automation efforts (UI/API/integration) and supporting CI/CD integration to improve coverage and release stability
- Daily cooperation with teams in Poland and the Netherlands in a multinational environment
Who are we looking for?
- At least 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance for software development, with strong hands-on delivery
- Strong SDLC knowledge and Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) with modern QA practices (risk-based, shift-left, DoD)
- Proven ability to independently drive quality activities, assess risks, and support release readiness decisions based on data and testing outcomes
- Hands-on understanding of test automation and CI/CD pipelines, including integration of automated tests into delivery workflows
- Experience with Python-based testing tools
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud environments from a testing perspective
- Proficiency with Jira/Confluence/Odoo and test management/defect tools (e.g., TestRail or equivalent)
- Strong ownership, self-organization, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills across Product, Engineering, DevOps, PMs, and Clients
- Fluent English (at least C1)
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in a QA Lead, QA Coordinator, or player-coach role, including mentoring or supporting less experienced QA Engineers
- Experience in QA for AI/ML and GenAI products, including LLM/RAG validation (data readiness, evaluation, regression for prompts/knowledge base)
- Familiarity with AI governance constraints (GDPR, security, model risk, monitoring & quality metrics) and audit support (ISO/SOC2)
- Experience with modern QA toolchains and developer productivity tooling (e.g., Playwright/Cypress, Postman, CI tooling, plus Claude/Copilot/Cursor)
