Salary: £40,000 – 50,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced 1st Line Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Quality Assurance function within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, delivers fair customer outcomes, and drives continuous operational improvements across the business.
Please note: This is not a Testing role, and candidates with solely a testing / engineer QA background will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the 1st Line Quality Assurance team to maintain high compliance standards.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures aligned with industry best practices.
Provide insights and reporting on trends and risks through monthly MI reporting.
Design and deliver training programmes to enhance compliance awareness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality assurance measures into operations.
Actively challenge and improve processes, controls, and risk management frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in 1st Line Quality Assurance within financial services.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
