Overview:
A fast-growing tech organisation in Riyadh is looking for a skilled QA Manager to lead day-to-day quality assurance operations across its digital product lines. Reporting to the Director of QA, the QA Manager will play a key role in ensuring robust test coverage, efficient automation practices, and a culture of continuous improvement in software quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA planning, execution, and reporting activities for web, mobile, and backend systems.
Oversee test case design, manual and automated test execution, and defect tracking.
Support the implementation and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks.
Work with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, and integrate into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to embed quality into every phase of the SDLC.
Coordinate regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
Help enforce security and compliance testing procedures as per internal and national standards.
Track and report QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect rates, test execution times) to stakeholders.
Contribute to QA process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a quality-driven mindset.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and test integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
Exposure to secure coding practices and knowledge of tools like Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP is advantageous.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
