About The Job
In this role, you will ensure robust Quality oversight of external manufacturing partners, safeguarding compliance, product quality and patient safety. You’ll act as a key point of contact for Quality matters, driving performance, managing risks and supporting business continuity across the supply network.
- Ensure strong Quality oversight of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and suppliers
- Act as the primary Quality contact and escalation point for assigned products and partners
- Drive compliance with GMP standards and internal Quality requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and strengthening of Quality culture across the network
- Support business growth through product launches, transfers and new partnerships
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee Quality activities for external manufacturers, ensuring compliant operations and effective Quality agreements
- Monitor performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage deviations, change controls and CAPAs in a timely and compliant manner
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to raw materials, components and finished products
- Ensure proper handling of product complaints from global markets
- Support audits, self-inspections and implementation of Quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, transfers and new business opportunities
About You
- Experience: Background in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Manufacturing within pharma/healthcare; exposure to external manufacturing is a strong plus
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills; able to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
- Mindset: Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented, with a risk-based approach
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of GMP and Quality systems; experience with deviations, CAPA and audits
- Education: Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related scientific field (PhD is a plus)
- Languages: Good command of English (written and spoken)
Location: Budapest
Hybrid working policy: 2 days/week remote working.
