Quality Assurance Specialist – Cape Town (Hybrid) – Cloud Software Quality
Explore Group is partnering with an expanding cloud software company to support their continued growth across quality assurance and software release divisions.
The business focuses on modern engineering workflows, relying heavily on automation, agile delivery, and regular release cadences to deliver exceptional products.
The Role:
We are looking to hire a QA Specialist to guarantee product quality across our software suite.
You will balance manual testing with a drive to expand test automation coverage. Working in an Agile environment, you will coordinate closely with developers and product teams to establish consistent, reliable testing frameworks and streamlined deployment cycles.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- 2-3 years of professional quality assurance experience, preferably evaluating cloud SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with modern QA workflows, test cases, and release cycles
- Comfortable executing both systematic manual tests and routine automation runs
- Ability to write, execute, and scale test plans and detail clear bug profiles
- Excellent analytical mindset with precise attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to discuss technical behaviors and fixes across engineering teams
- Proactive, self-driven approach to improving testing frameworks
- Comfortable operating in collaborative Scrum environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience implementing or expanding automated testing frameworks
- Exposure to accounting platforms, transactional SaaS, or property software frameworks
- QA certifications or formal training (such as ISTQB)
