Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the success of our research projects. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality control and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations. The Laboratory Assistant will work closely with scientists and researchers, utilizing their knowledge of laboratory techniques and terminology to assist in various experiments and analyses.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and organization of laboratory samples for analysis.
Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior staff.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
Document findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with laboratory protocols.
Collaborate with team members on research projects, providing support in molecular biology, microbiology, and histology techniques.
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to FDA regulations during laboratory procedures.
Analyze data from experiments and assist in the interpretation of results.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in a medical laboratory
computer skills (typing)
