Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing on new application versions.
  • Lead and participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring all company standards and end-user requirements are met prior to release.
  • Train and orient team members on UAT activities; schedule and prioritize work to ensure the team meets target deadlines, quality benchmarks, and project scope.
  • Proactively identify areas where UAT processes are lacking and develop new procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Execute test cases with precision; report, track, and troubleshoot defects in close collaboration with the development team.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing processes to streamline repetitive manual efforts.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation of testing procedures, results, and findings to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
  • Provide timely, accurate status reports to the QA Lead and business stakeholders regarding product health and performance.
  • Work across departments to ensure quality standards are unified, and testing processes are synchronized with development sprints.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence by sharing insights in team meetings and proposing ideas to optimize the overall QA lifecycle.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum of 2-3 years in Quality Assurance.
  • Extensive experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a testing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement testing efficiencies.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
