Pioneer Broach, a leading production broaching service provider, is looking for a lead Inspector to ensure that all components meet blue print requirements and follow all quality standards and aerospace requirements. This role involves examining and measuring to confirm dimensional compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. As our lead inspector, you will work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering teams to maintain product integrity and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components using precision measuring tools and equipment.
*Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to verify part conformance.
*Document inspection results, including detailed reports on findings and deviations.
*Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
*Maintain inspection equipment and ensure it is calibrated according to standards.
*Follow regulatory and safety guidelines such as AS9100, NADCAP, or FAA requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
*Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
*Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (CMM, micrometers, etc.).
*Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP, FAA regulations).
*Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
*Strong communication and reporting skills.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum:
-High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing inspection.
Preferred:
-Degree or certification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
