Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for a Quality Control Engineer. The role involves ensuring that our piping and fittings products and processes meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection. Responsibilities include executing quality assurance protocols, identifying and addressing production issues, analysing data to detect trends or inconsistencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement. The Quality Control Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of piping material standards and construction codes such as ASME, ASTM, BS-EN, DIN, NACE, etc., with the ability to apply them under guidance.
  • Assist QC Managers and Senior Engineers in inspections, testing activities, MTC review, and project specification detailing in coordination with the sales team.
  • Support day-to-day QA/QC activities, including inspections, documentation, and coordination with clients and third-party inspectors (TPI).
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining QA/QC documentation, including ISO documents, calibration records, and inspection reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date as per project requirements.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  •  Show a positive attitude toward work and a willingness to learn in a professional environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with guidance, maintaining flexibility and teamwork.
  • QC-related certifications such as AWS, CSWIP, NDT, or ISO will be considered an added advantage.
