Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) Weekend Shift

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems, is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift.
In this role, you will use a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and other inspection equipment to inspect machined and/or welded components against blueprint requirements prior to shipment to customers. You will also provide quality auditing support to shop floor operations.
Note: This position supports Second and Weekend Shift.
Required Skills
- Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gages
- Scales
- Other dimensional inspection equipment
- Ability to read, comprehend, and work from engineering blueprints.
- Ability to support Second and Weekend Shift.
Preferred Skills
- Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Weld inspection knowledge or experience.
- Experience with FARO Arm/Laser Tracker equipment.
- Experience with Keyence inspection equipment.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically requires one year of related work experience.
Schedule
- Second/Weekend Shift.
- Candidates must be available to support the required weekend schedule.
