We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic team in Williamsport, PA.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Proactively ensure a high level of product quality.

Provide the leadership to ensure that HSSL quality standards are maintained.

Work with Fabrication department management to ensure ongoing quality standards and problem resolution.

Coordinate with outside inspectors, working together to meet the customer’s requirements.

Responsible for developing, updating and administering visual and coatings inspection, non-destructive testing procedures and practices.

Manage QC workloads, scheduling, procedures and audits.

Address fabrication quality deficiencies.

Maintain plant certifications.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND/OR

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in fabrication inspection.

Previous progressive supervisory experience required, preferably in steel fabrication.

Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering Management, Quality Control or related major preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

REQUIRED:

Level II certification in Radiography (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) preferred.

Level II certification in Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) preferred.

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required.

AAMP Level I or III certification (Coatings) preferred.
