Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) team member to support our food manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for monitoring product quality, food safety, sanitation, and production processes to ensure products meet company standards and applicable food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished products for quality and compliance.
- Monitor production processes to ensure food safety and quality standards are followed.
- Perform routine quality checks, including product appearance, weight, temperature, labeling, packaging, and other specifications.
- Verify proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products and ingredients.
- Monitor employee compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), sanitation, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
- Complete QC inspection forms, logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Identify and report product defects, contamination risks, sanitation concerns, or other quality issues to management.
- Place questionable or non-conforming products on hold when required and follow company procedures.
- Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to quality or food safety issues.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Management teams to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other quality control and food safety duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, food manufacturing, restaurant production, or food safety experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, sanitation, food safety, HACCP, or similar standards is preferred.
- Ability to accurately complete reports, checklists, and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and production employees.
- Good computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Must be comfortable working around food production equipment.
- May be exposed to hot, cold, refrigerated, wet, or noisy working conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous QC/QA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FDA, USDA, or food safety requirements, as applicable.
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese or Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
