Job Summary:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for testing, recording, and evaluating products used and produced at Gordon Incorporated with oversight from the Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the appearance of facilities, verification of test equipment, and inventory of laboratory supplies.
Run test equipment for inspecting incoming powder coating materials for compliance to specification
Record data for archival, statistical, and analytical purposes
Perform product testing and correlate to process parameters
Work with powder coating line personnel to ensure all quality expectations are met
Disposition product per specific quality guidelines
Analyze data for effective troubleshooting and measurable continual improvement
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs other duties, as necessary.
Education and/or Experience Required:
Technical degree preferred, or relevant experience in laboratory setting
Understand the fundamentals of laboratory practices, scientific method, and thorough documentation.
Have good color acuity

Physical Requirements:
Capable of accessing all areas of the facility
Must be able to access a variety of spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
Must be able to work in cold and hot temperatures in the Warehouse.
