Quality Control Specialist (Field Tech/Lab Tech) Jobs in Westlake, LA at Dunham Price Group
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Quality Control Reviewer. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy by reviewing financial statements and workpapers, ensuring they meet both accounting standards and Firm policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Firm’s accounting and auditing policies, standards, documentation and templates.
Perform thorough reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS and internal Firm standards.
Support the monitoring and adherence to the Firm’s quality control system.
Assist with the implementation of emerging accounting and auditing standards.
Act as a technical resource, offering guidance and expertise.
Mentor and assist staff in improving quality control practices and promote their ongoing professional development.
Participate in periodic peer reviews, PCAOB inspections and other regulatory assessments as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting from an accredited institution is required.
Active CPA license required.
8-10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on quality control.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with client service teams.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
