Description:
As a Quality Assurance (QAE) Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze, improve and implement effective QA strategies and methodologies
Work closely with the development team to ensure that the software is designed and developed with quality standards
Establish guidelines and procedures to enhance the testing process and improve the overall quality of the software
Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures accordingly.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective testing strategies that align with the goals of the project.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Knowledge of data testing processes and methodology
Proven experience in QA for data engineering and ETL/ELT processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or .NET.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Experience using management systems (Azure DevOps, ADF Orchestration, Synapse Analytics, etc.).
Experience with Azure Cloud Data Services (ADLS Gen 2, ADF) and Microsoft Azure DataBricks.
Experience in ELT/ETL (cleansing and normalizing source data, transformation, and loading) reports and dashboard testing.
Experience in creating data profiling, data mapping & SQL.
Understanding of Medallion Architecture, DWH concepts, Dimensional modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to testing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
