Lynchburg Machining, LLC is a precision machining company specializing in quick turnaround and low quantity work in industries such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Defense, etc. with a focus on quality parts delivered on time. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Inspector to join our growing team. A minimum of 2 years experience in a machining setting is required for consideration. Candidates with CMM programming experience is preferred. Pay range will be negotiable based on prior experience.
Essential duties and responsibility:
· Perform in-process and final inspections to customer specifications and to Lynchburg Machining’s quality standards.
· Ability to work in a fast paced, quick turnaround environment
· Ability to use calipers, micrometers, indicators and other common measuring instruments
· Ability to interact with machinists on a daily basis
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to lift 40 pounds

· Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to communicate with team members and management
· A positive and self-motivated attitude with willingness to learn from our highly experienced staff
· Able to successfully work in a team environment
· Be able to adapt in a frequently changing environment
· Ability to multitask with attention to detail throughout all job responsibilities
– Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in generating reports and efficiently navigating various software programs and websites
· Ability to work overtime as required
· Must be a “U.S. person”
