Quality is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a motivated Quality Control Technician to join our Technical team on our late shift, ensuring our products consistently meet the highest food safety, quality and customer standards.

The Role

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that products are manufactured safely, legally and to specification. Working closely with Production and the Technical team, you will carry out quality checks, monitor production standards and help maintain compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine quality checks throughout production.
  • Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products.
  • Complete quality records accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor product specifications, weights and packaging quality.
  • Conduct environmental and hygiene verification checks.
  • Perform equipment calibration and verification.
  • Identify quality issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Support GMP, HACCP and food safety standards across the factory.
  • Work closely with Production to resolve quality concerns.
  • Assist with customer and internal audit requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good numeracy and record-keeping skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality control.
  • HACCP and GMP knowledge.
  • Food Science, Quality or related qualification.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate
