About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products, streamlining processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality systems, process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly ISO13485. With a minimum of five years of relevant experience, the successful candidate will lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and uphold the highest quality standards across our operations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO13485 standards and experience in implementing and maintaining compliant quality management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Willingness to stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Apply Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other best practices to minimize waste, optimize productivity, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting product quality and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Utilize statistical analysis to monitor process stability and control variability in manufacturing outputs.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems in accordance with ISO13485 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, production, and regulatory—to embed quality standards into all processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans, control plans, and assurance procedures to uphold product standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members on quality control techniques and process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics, quality issues, and recommending solutions.
