We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of quality throughout our manufacturing operations.
Position Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, company standards, and ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements. This role protects product quality by preventing nonconforming materials from entering production or reaching the customer while supporting material traceability, inventory accuracy, process compliance, and continual improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, First Article, in-process, and final inspections using documented inspection criteria and quality procedures.
- Verify part numbers, revisions, dimensions, quantities, labeling, packaging, lot numbers, and material traceability.
- Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company procedures, customer specifications, and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Identify, document, label, segregate, and disposition nonconforming materials as directed by the quality team.
- Create and maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and quality documentation in electronic and paper formats.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), 8D investigations, SCARs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review customer quality concerns and recommend corrective actions to improve products and processes.
- Support internal and external quality audits and maintain audit readiness.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Receiving, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Evaluate customer requirements and ensure products consistently meet or exceed expectations.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
- Working knowledge of quality inspection methods and documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic quality systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI), CAPA, SCAR, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with material traceability, inventory control, and ERP systems.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Work Environment
This position operates within Agora Edge’s 90,000-square-foot manufacturing campus consisting of four neighboring facilities. The work environment includes warehouse and production areas where the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
