Duties:
- Perform in-process inspections throughout the conveyor assembly process.
- Inspect fabricated metal parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Conduct receiving inspections of purchased and outsourced parts.
- Perform final inspections before shipment to ensure product quality and customer requirement
- Test conveyor belts using provided gauge and pre set process.
- Train assemblers and welders on quality standards and workmanship.
- Work with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Use measuring tools like vernier caliper as needed to perform receiving inspection
Communication
- Report quality issues to the appropriate departments.
- Participate in quality meetings and communicate inspection results.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing processes.
- Help reduce rework, scrap, and production downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
- Basic mechanical aptitude; electrical testing experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
