Position: Quality Inspector: San Diego, CA (1099 Contractor)
THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME ROLE || THIS IS A 1099 CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY FOR SAN DIEGO, CA*
Responsibilities:
Conduct a Visual Sorting Inspection for Packaging Damage of 840 boxes across 6 pallets (external packaging only). The inspector must:
Verify quantity of packages per packing list
Visually assess external box condition (dents, scratches, odor, etc.)
Follow and document specific procedures
Take clear photographs of findings
Complete and collect signatures on the Product Summary Report and Integrity Report
Ensure no handling or repacking is done by warehouse staff before inspection
Industry Experience and Technical Qualifications:
2+ years in quality inspection or related warehouse inspection roles
Understanding of ISO 9001 (preferred), Familiar with QMS principles and standards
General QA/QC or warehouse safety certification is a plus
Experience with visual inspections and product sorting
Familiarity with warehouse protocols and packaging standards a plus.
NOTE:
Contract Type: 1099 contract (Part Time)
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY is Short-term inspection engagement-1 day (7 hrs. inspection + 1 hr. reporting). Project duration varies from client to client in a 1099 contractual project
