Our client, located in Roberts, is looking to hire a 2nd shift Quality Inspector.
4–10-hour shifts, with OT possible.
2pm-12:30am Mon-Thur.
This is a temporary to hire position with a great company!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring all products are built and function according to the prescribed guidelines and specifications. The Quality Control Inspector performs tests to ensure products meet quality standards, reports and records quality standards related to products manufactured, and makes recommendations for improvement.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for performing regular quality assessments on all outgoing products prior to shipping by routinely measuring product dimensions, examining functionality, and comparing the final product to the specifications.
· Required to reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
· Responsible for reading and understanding blueprint specifications related to products and services, to include first articles.
· Responsible for documenting inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
· Responsible for reporting quality-related issues in a timely manner to department of origin and/or management.
· Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the work area.
· Perform all duties in a safe manner.
· Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Demonstrated ability in basic math skills and computer skills. Effective interpersonal skills along with demonstrated oral communication skills are essential for this position.
Demonstrated attention to detail, a self-starter needing little direct supervision, problem solving skills along with a high degree of attention to detail are required for this position.
Working Environment
Work requires physical effort divided primarily between periods of standing, walking, and sitting. The work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. Lifting from 25 to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis is required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Physical demands include crouching, bending over and reaching.
