Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated CNC Quality Inspector to join our 2nd shift team on a 4 day work week schedule. In this role, you will ensure that all manufactured parts meet quality standards through inspection and quality control processes. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to excellence, compliance with industry regulations, and continuous improvement in manufacturing quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical dimensional inspection on precision machined parts and maintain appropriate inspection records using the AS9102 format.
- Use of precision measuring instruments such as caliper, micrometer, height gage, optical comparator, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), digital/dial indicators, various GO/NO GO thread and threaded ring gages, pin gages, gage blocks, etc.
- Analyze inspection data, document findings accurately, and communicate discrepancies or non-conformances promptly to production teams.
- Review Material, Plating, Paint, Hardware, etc. Certifications to ensure they meet print specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection within manufacturing environments, especially involving CNC machining or precision manufacturing.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Must be a team player.
Pay: $22.50 – $26.50 per hour
