Job Responsibilities
Perform Data Input & Analysis necessary to understand/evaluate quality trends.
Visually inspect material for obvious defects.
Perform detailed inspection when necessary to determine quality of products where limits are not defined.
Post and maintain forms or charts of inspection data, quality levels or special quality projects.
Maintain accurate and complete quality records for all parts in assigned area or responsibilities.
Support the Quality Department by performing certain duties of the QC Engineer and Document Control Clerk in their absence.
Support the Quality Receiving Department by performing certain duties of the Auditors including, but not limited to, color judgment.
Support other Quality Control areas such as QC Lab & QC Calibration.
Collaborate with Production Engineering to update standards.
Independently research and complete assigned quality projects.
Must perform in a Professional Manner at all times.
Travel to Customer or Vendor on an as needed basis. Length of stay up to one week.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work all shifts, and some weekends/holidays.
Works well in a team atmosphere.
Dexterity and preciseness required operating gauges and testing equipment.
Ability to detect differences in color.
Considerable mental and visual effort.
Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
Self-directed with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to learn and execute different tasks and job responsibilities.
Ability to work with customers and vendors as needed.
