We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our production team to ensure every part meets customer specifications before packing and shipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and specifications
- Experience using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Ability to stand for long periods, work in high temperatures, and lift up to 55 lbs. independently or up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to wear required PPE, including eye protection, gloves, and safety toe shoes or boots
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts, perform first article inspections, and verify products meet customer and production standards.
- Use measuring tools to identify defects, document inspection results, and determine whether products are accepted, rejected, or removed from production.
- Communicate quality issues clearly with the Quality Manager, Plant Manager, and production team while helping keep nonconforming parts out of the production area.
The Quality Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and supports safe, accurate, and efficient production by following established inspection procedures.
