Quality Inspector, Manufacturing – Omniseal Solution Jobs in Garden Grove, CA at Saint Gobain
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Quality Inspector 1st shift. M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm. $23.00-$30.00 PER HOUR DOE Plus Quarterly Bonus.
Perform variety of inspection/test tasks in support of Manufacturing and other Customer-related processes. Inspections/tests (dimensional and visual) are performed in all stages of the manufacturing process, as well as related documentation. Inspection assignments can include Receiving Inspection, In-Process Inspections, Final Inspections, and First-Piece validations (e.g. Inspection Island. Daily functions/percentages may vary based on assigned area.
Inspectors assigned to Inspection Island will be primarily focused on dimensional inspections for first-piece verifications which will require a higher level of proficiency in the use of inspection tools and equipment and a high degree of interaction with production employees.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 2+ years Quality or Production Role that includes Inspection and use of gauges and blueprints is required.
- Aptitude and good eye – hand coordination is required.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, gages, pi tapes is required.
- Good vision to read written materials and measuring instruments is required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
- ITAR Requirement: Must be a US Person to meet ITAR requirements.

BENEFITS IN JOINING US

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus 2nd shift $1.00 differential ($62,400 to $83,200 per year), depending on experience. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/a quarterly bonus.
The targeted bonus amount can range from 7.5% to 10% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs./week * 52wks) for this position is $47,840 to $68,640. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.
