Role Description The Quality Management Division Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center in Metro Manila. This role supports the hospital’s quality improvement initiatives by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to clinical and administrative processes. The associate assists in preparing quality reports, monitoring compliance with hospital policies, and coordinating audits and internal assessments. Day-to-day tasks include documenting findings, helping implement corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with departments to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting training activities on quality protocols, and contributing to projects that enhance patient safety and overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, including data collection, basic data analysis, and preparation of quality reports and summaries.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., QA/QI tools, audit processes) is an advantage.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools) and comfort working with databases or information systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams in a professional manner.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a health-related, science, or administrative field (e.g., Nursing, Public Health, Medical Technology, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in hospital quality management, compliance, or related healthcare operations is an advantage but not always required for entry-level applicants.
