Role Overview

The Quality Manager develops, implements, maintains, and continually improves the organization’s quality management system to ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

This role requires full commitment to excellence in Quality within the printed folding carton industry, emphasizing quality through employees, systems, processes, and products.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the structure, successful implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO  and Amcor standards. Ensures KPIs are met and internal audits are conducted.

Establishes and maintains quality documentation, including policies, objectives, manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.

Coordinates food safety, product integrity, and regulatory compliance audits to meet or exceed standards, including FSSC 22000, FDA, and customer requirements.

Serves as plant HACCP Team Leader and PCQI.

Manages ChOC program and certification at the plant.

Communicates quality results internally and to customers.

Acts as a liaison with customers and suppliers to improve quality systems and meet requirements.

Manages plant quality KPIs and involves all co-workers in quality initiatives.

Provides technical problem-solving support related to quality issues.

Offers training in areas of expertise.

Coordinates external audits and pursues quality system certifications.

Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value and customer satisfaction.

Strong focus on environment, health, and safety.
