The Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables and business processes comply with established quality standards, technical specifications, and ISO 9001 requirements. The role focuses on supporting Quality Assurance (QA) and technical Quality Control (QC) activities across project phases and corporate functions.

Quality Management, Compliance, and Standardization

  • Implement and maintain an ISO 9001–compliant Quality Management System.
  • Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with internal procedures, client requirements, technical specifications, and regulatory standards.

Process Improvement and Organizational Excellence

  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives using recognized methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Analyze operational workflows and quality data to identify inefficiencies, defects, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate the adoption of innovative process improvements and non-standard solutions to enhance quality and business performance.

Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Management

  • Support the issuance and tracking of Corrective Action and Improvement Reports (CAIRs).
  • Assist in root cause analysis activities and verification of corrective action effectiveness.
  • Monitor recurring or systemic quality issues and escalate unresolved items to the responsible functions.

Continuous Improvement Training and Awareness

  • Conduct quality inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions focused on improvement culture and disciplined execution.
  • Deliver training on quality tools, problem-solving techniques, ISO requirements, and standardized work methods.

Documentation, Change Management, and Data Management

  • Ensure proper filing, traceability, and retention of quality records, inspection reports, and calibration certificates.
  • Monitor material quality records and critical spare parts documentation from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Support technical and operational change management processes to ensure quality requirements are addressed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Quality, Quality Assurance / Quality Control, or Integrated Management Systems within construction, power generation, infrastructure, or renewable energy environments.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001–aligned Quality Management Systems; exposure to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage.
  • Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001; certification for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in Corrective Action and Improvement Report (CAIR) management, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
