As a Quality Operations Director you will lead and manage quality assurance teams across industrial plants and distribution centers.​
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.​
Conduct regular audits and inspections of industrial plants and distribution centers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.​
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.​
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and supply chain, to drive quality improvements and ensure seamless operations.​
Develop training programs and workshops to educate staff on quality standards and best practices.​
Monitor and report quality metrics, progress, and issues to the VP of Quality, providing actionable insights and recommendations.​
Manage and mentor a team of 6 direct reports, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.​
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and incorporate relevant practices into the organization.​
Lead initiatives to achieve and maintain certifications and accreditations related to quality standards.​
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
Education:​
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.​
Experience: ​
Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles.​
Experience in quality assurance within industrial plants and distribution centers.​
Knowledge of Quality Processes and IWS (Integrated Work Systems).
Experience implementing PPR´s ​
