Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions within our operation. The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems that ensure products consistently meet customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements. This role will collaborate closely with production, warehouse, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, company policies, and applicable industry standards.
  • Lead quality inspections, audits, and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Partner with production and operations teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
  • Manage customer quality concerns and coordinate timely resolution of complaints.
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Prepare for and lead internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
  • Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with vendors to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of quality management experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 experience preferred).
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience conducting internal and external audits.
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using ERP systems and quality management software is a plus.
