Quality Technician I – 1st Shift Jobs in Des Plaines, IL at Hearthside Food Solutions
Send histograms on a weekly and monthly basis to customers with regards to their product run data.
Investigate and answer all customer complaints within 48 hours of notification.
Keep BRC files up to date, as well as maintain product database.
Send weekly reports to interoffice personnel regarding customer complaints.
Maintain company documents on the various customer sites ensuring compliance.
Backup HACCP coordinator as needed:
Assist with managing regulatory programs and audits.
Assist in managing HACCP and SSOP programs.
Assist in monitoring noncompliance records (NR’s).
Assist in monitoring noncompliance records for proper ISP codes.
Assist facility with corrective/preventative measures.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Good communication skills; both verbal and written.
College courses preferred or relevant work related experience.
Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Good math skills.
Self starter, with little or no supervision needed.
Poultry knowledge is a plus.
