Job Title: Data Analyst I

Reports To: Quality Monitoring & Response Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst I serves as a key member of the Quality Monitoring Team, playing a critical role in generating performance insights, identifying trends, and supporting continuous improvement across our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience working with quality, performance, or customer experience data. The Data Analyst I must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, have a team orientation, an adaptable nature, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Design and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Analyze quality monitoring data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in team and individual performance
Collaborate with QMR Team & Internal Stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored analysis.
Utilize Jira analytics tools (e.g., Jira gadgets, Jira Query Language (JQL), and Jira Dashboards) to extract, monitor, and visualize key quality and workflow metrics.
Track key quality metrics (DORA) and provide insights on root causes
Support calibration and QA review processes with data-driven evaluations and summaries
Automate recurring reporting tasks and improve data workflows for efficiency.
Assist in developing KPIs and benchmarks for quality performance
Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance data collection and reporting practices
Validate data accuracy and ensure integrity of analysis and reporting.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work closely with management to understand work priorities and business needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Document and maintain business and functional requirements and ensure persistence
Communicate with and stakeholders using data to clearly describe a problem or solution
Utilize time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities to handle multiple and parallel projects, deliverables while working both independently and collaboratively within a team
Maintain user confidence and protect the business by keeping information confidential
Maintain regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2+ years of data analyst experience (QA or customer experience analytics preferred).
Strong proficiency in, SQL, AWS, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Experience using Jira and Jira related tools (e.g., Jira Dashboards, Jira Gadgets, JQL) to collect and report key data metrics.
Business knowledge of the healthcare industry, specialty reimbursement, hub services, and methods for getting patients on therapy faster
Knowledge of process improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is beneficial

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Solid understanding of quality assurance metrics and methodologies.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Tableau, Sisense, SSRS, Excel, Power BI, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
Solid foundation in SQL for querying structured, relational databases. Exposure to or willingness to learn non-relational database technologies (e.g., MongoDB) and their respective query languages.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Experience in all phases of data analytics
Willingness to work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve understanding of the business needs.
Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills.
